Hybrid Golf launches new event for 2015

Following the resounding success of our East Lothian event which now enters its 4th year, we are delighted to be launching a brand new amateur tournament for 2015. Beginning on September 14, the Links Golf Cup Ayrshire will be a 72 hole Stableford competition played over four magnificent courses – Western Gailes, Dundonald Links, Kilmarnock Barassie and Prestwick St Nicholas.

Online registration and further details are now available at www.linksgolfcup.co.uk, where the first 30 entrants can take advantage of a discounted entry fee of just £245 – great value for money for a fantastic week of golf.

As with our East Lothian event, there will be some great prizes up for grabs – both for individuals and teams – including the ‘Teeuplo Par 3 Challenge’ which runs alongside the main event and sees competitors totalling their score at the 8 selected Par 3s over the week.

As Guy Redford, Director of Golf at Dundonald Links commented “Ayrshire is home to some first class golf courses and is known throughout the world as the birthplace of The Open having staged the first championship at Prestwick in 1860. I am delighted that the Links Golf Cup will be coming to our region in September and I look forward to welcoming the competitors to Dundonald Links for their final round.”
